The Milestone Krum Wedding | Denton Photographer | Dakota and Spencer
Dakota and Spencer were married last Friday in a beautiful ceremony at The Milestone in Krum. The Milestone wedding pictures never get old to me. This venue is stunning and I absolutely love the space. I asked Dakota why she chose her venue and she said she loved the outdoor area of the venue, especially the gazebo and pond but she’s a little jealous that the bridal suite doesn’t come with the pool table and video games that the groom gets. HAHA! Her outdoor ceremony turned into an indoor one due to rain the day before and the morning of. Regardless, it was still the perfect ceremony performed by her brother.
Dakota and Spencer are high school sweethearts and have been together since high school. They met at a bowling alley as teenagers. I asked each of them what they first thought when meeting the other and Dakota said “I wasn’t looking for a relationship, but the moment I met him I knew he needed to be in my life.” Spencer said almost the exact same thing. His words were, “I knew she was someone special from that moment and I was right.” Watching these two interact and look at each other was a romance novel. Their laughter is continuous and I know they will laugh together for a long time.
Dakota’s first look with her dad made me tear up. The father/daughter relationship is amazing to me and I understand how he felt when seeing how beautiful his baby girl looked. After the ceremony and a few photos, the reception started and we had the best time with this couple and their family and friends. It was a huge dance party and DJ Cory B, had everyone dancing. Dakota and Spencer are in Hawaii at the moment and I am so jealous of them. I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon and your flight wasn’t so bad Spencer 🙂

I love the simplicity of it but the lace details makes it even more perfect. The keyhole back also added elegance to the dress. At her bridal session was actually the first time I really met Dakota and we were the perfect fit. She had me laughing so hard. Being in a dress and wearing make-up, isn’t her most favorite thing, but she does it so well. Darling by Elle did a fantastic job with her hair and make-up. Dakota made a great model for her bridal session and I love how her images turned out. My favorite is the second one on the stair case. The backside of the dress is just simply amazing especially on her! Such a beautiful soul and just all around a fun person to get to know. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding.
