COVID-19 Update

This entire thing is pure madness. I cannot believe we are actually dealing with a scary virus that has completely shut down our lives. I never thought in a million years, this was something we would have to face. But here we are and we are all cooped up at home trying to make the best of the situation none of us asked for. Covid-19 cannot leave quick enough!

First and foremost, my heart breaks for every bride/couple that is having to deal with this. This is the last thing they should have to worry about. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. My prayers go out to all the wedding vendors as well. I know this hit all of us like Miley Cyrus’ wrecking ball. This is not what I pictured for 2020. I had so much hope for this year and now several wedding vendors are worried and not working is the scariest part. Wedding venues are being forced to close for a couple of months. This is our livelihood and it’s going to be rough but I have faith that God will see us through and we will all be stronger.

I am doing everything in my power to reschedule several weddings due to venues being forced to shut down. I am so pleased to announce that every bride has a new date that I am available for. I love all my couples and I hate that this is something you’re suffering through. Know I am in this with you and I’m always a phone call away if you need anything. I am willing to help in any way I can.

After this madness comes to an end, I plan on enjoying weddings again. I cannot wait to shoot my first wedding after all this. I am taking this time to reflect on my business and my life. This might be something we all needed to do but were always too busy to. I am thankful that my family is all safe and healthy and I know we will all be better on the other side of this.

Let’s kick this virus by staying home and washing our hands so we can get back to having fully stocked shelves at the grocery store and being able to go out to eat with our friends and families. These things we all take for granted won’t be taken for granted any longer. I have to admit that going to the grocery store and seeing empty shelves was gut-wrenching. It really makes you thankful for the companies that provide food to our stores.

I know I am ready to get back to my daily routine but at the same time, if this did not happen, would we appreciate the little things? I don’t think so. So now, I am thankful for this time. The little things matter and that is what we all forget. I will now appreciate them moving forward.

Thank you to the first responders, the nurses, doctors, truck drives, grocery store workers, pharmacies, teachers, etc.; that are all working their butts off. I appreciate you!
