Proposal Photos | Denton Wedding Photographer | Chevy and Austin

It’s not every day that I get to take proposal photos of my best friend. When I met Chevy 5 years ago at a wedding, I quickly feel in love with her crazy and we’ve been friends ever since. I’ve been holding my breath for the last 4 years for Austin to put a ring on it and I was so glad that I got to capture the moment. He didn’t bother letting me in on his secret proposal so I was shocked just like Chevy was.

They do Christmas photos every year and Chevy likes to have different photographers capture these sessions and it’s been a couple of years since I got to photograph them but I’m glad it was my turn. Chevy decided to do photos at her mom’s house and the views from there are just amazing. You don’t feel like you’re in Texas or near Denton.

Chevy had her makeup done by one of our favorite people, Krista Ann. Krista is just a magician with her talents to make every face she touches look perfect. Chevy also bought a flowy dress from Amazon and wanted Austin in a suit. We got to her mom’s house and we started our photo shoot. It was the perfect fall setting and all the location were so picturesque.

At sunset, we were at the overlook and Austin got down on his knee, Chevy started crying, and then I was like, it’s finally happening and quickly realized I was supposed to be taking pictures! Chevy told Austin that she’d marry him with a ring pop so he put her ring in a ring pop package. It was the perfect proposal for Chevy and I was so honored to capture it.
