Plano Engagement Photos

Taking these Plano engagement photos have to be some of my favorite photos. I just love this session so much! The fall colors, the couples’ interaction, the weather, the clothing colors, the location; it was all perfect!

I met Kate when she was a bridesmaid in her cousin’s wedding a few years ago and now it’s her turn to be the BRIDE! I was so excited when she emailed me and booked. I loved working with her family for the first time. I certainly don’t mind doing it again.

Kate and Matthew met on Bumble in July of 2018, and got engaged in San Diego on May 30, 2020! They have planned their wedding for October of 2021 at Barnett Estates in Krum.

I got to meet Matthew for the first time during our session. It didn’t take long until he had me laughing. I love the energy between these two and how comfortable they were with each other. I took so many photos and it was hard to narrow down my favorites. Did I mention that I’m obsessed with redheads? Kate’s hair is just perfection and I loved the yellow sweater on her so much! I cannot wait until October so I can photograph their wedding!!

But my favorite moment was when Kate saw the gallery and was in happy tears. She didn’t think they could photograph so well and I love that I can exceed her expectations but from my point of view, it was easy. I love showing clients what I see. All it takes is love and a few prompts from me and I can create real moments to capture. Sessions like this just make me love my job even more. This is my goal for every session. Make the client feel comfortable and not pose them too much and create something timeless and fun.
