Lucky Spur Ranch

Maddy and Marcus chose Lucky Spur Ranch in Justin, Texas as their wedding venue. It was the perfect country wedding they hoped for surrounded by all their family and friends.

Maddy and Marcus met through a dating app at the beginning of March 2019. After texting and talking, they decided to meet and had their first date at a Japanese restaurant. That date wasn’t the best since Marcus was so nervous. He called immediately after and asked for a “do over” and Maddy agreed. The second date went much better and Maddy is so glad she gave him a “do over”! On August 16, 2020, Marcus proposed to Maddy in a romantic setting in Missouri. She of course said “YES”!

The weather was perfect since we had lots of rain last week. Maddy and Marcus went the traditional route by not seeing each other prior to the ceremony. Abby, the flower girl, made her grand entrance and totally stole the show. She spun around and said “Ok! I’m done!” Marcus was so anxious to see his bride and couldn’t stop smiling when he saw her. Such a beautiful moment seeing his STUNNING bride walking towards him. The ceremony was full of their love for God and heartfelt personal wedding vows.

After some family photos and my favorite part, couples portraits, it was time to enjoy a delicious dinner and then PARTY! This group of guests had so much fun dancing it up to the live band, The Weak Knights. The band certainly had the dance floor packed all night long.

They ended the night with a private last dance (my other favorite part of a wedding day) and then exited through a tunnel of sparklers. It was a magical day and these two deserve all the happiness in the world!
