Makenzie and Andrew were married on Friday at The Lodge Aubrey Springs Venue. These high school sweethearts were made for each other. Makenzie looked freaking flawless and her dress was simply stunning on her. Makenzie chose to do a first look with her dad, brother, and step-mom. I typically tear up with dad moments but her brother, Blake, got me this time. His first look with his sister was so beautiful.

Makenzie and Andrew kept things traditional but read letters to each other prior to the ceremony. I loved hearing all the sweet words they shared. If a first look isn’t for you, I highly recommend a first touch.

The ceremony started and Andrew was so anxious to see his beautiful bride. As Makenzie and her dad came down the aisle, Andrew’s smile just got bigger as he fought back the tears. The ceremony was short and sweet to avoid the Texas heat as much as possible.

After the family photos, it was time to enter the reception. Makenzie and Andrew shared their first dance. They were both smiling ear to ear. After the parent dances and cake cutting, is was sunset photo time. I love capturing these moments during golden hour.

Once we got back into the party, these two stayed on the dance floor the rest of the night. DJ Questionmark had it packed and everyone had so much fun celebrating Makenzie and Andrew.
