Dashia’nera + James – The Lodge Aubrey Wedding Photos

Dashi and James were married last Thursday at The Lodge in Aubrey. These two were so much fun to work with and I’m so glad I met them at The Springs Open House last year.

Their Love Story:

“This love story starts like any other, with a question. “Is the lie that you have you been spat on by a llama?” From then on, we knew our love was meant to be. We were able to go on our first date with no problem, but Covid tried to put a damper on the rest of our plans. Since we lived in different states, the border lockdown due to the virus, stopped us from seeing each other in person for about a month. We had several virtual dates instead as we kept our hopes high that we would be able to see each other again. We have since been on several trips, met each others families and even touched a sea cucumber at an aquarium! As we prepared for one of those aforementioned trips, there was a party for my grandmother or so I thought. I showed up fashionably late, greeted everyone, and presented my grandmother with her gift. As I turned around I noticed my family recording me and then I saw James, who was supposed to be on his way from work to pick me up. He brought me by the fireplace as he read a speech about our relationship. He then got down on one knee to ask if I would be his wife. The rest is soon to be written.”

I loved all the personal touches they put into their outfits. Dashi is so talented to have handmade her wedding dress. James saw her as she walked down the aisle and he had a huge smile on his face. She looked so beautiful and I don’t think he stopped smiling until he had to speak. The ceremony was full of laughter and James couldn’t wait to kiss his bride.

After a few photos, it was time to eat dinner and then the party started. This group stayed on the dance floor all night long and had the best time. Sir J the DJ kept the floor packed and it was so much fun!

At the end of the night, they shared a private last dance and then exited through a tunnel of bubbles. It was a perfect wedding day!
