Lone Star Mansion Wedding Photos

Heather and Jonathan were married last Saturday at Lone Star Mansion wedding venue in Burleson. This was our first time at this venue and it did not disappoint. It’s such a gorgeous venue with lots of areas for photos.

Heather and Jon met on Hinge. They both lived in New York and dating was hard. Jon says Heather was his first date via Hinge. Their first date was at Whiskey Brooklyn and they spent 4 hours talking and laughing. By the end of the night, Heather knew Jon was someone special. The dated for a couple more years, then June 18, 2021, Jon proposed at their apartment right before making dinner.

I met Heather 3 years ago when I photographed her sister’s wedding. I fell in love with this family back then and was thrilled to be asked to photograph another Miller wedding. Miller weddings are so much fun and full of the sweetest family members.

Heather and Jon were both so excited on Saturday. Heather may have gotten more nervous when she put her dress on but after their first look, Heather was totally excited. These two made each other laugh and just relax.

We were able to get lots of photos done prior to the ceremony. Jon walked into all the guests cheering for him and the guests kept it going for the parents and wedding party as well. The minister started the ceremony with some jokes and everyone was laughing. They exchanged rings and sealed it with a kiss.

At the reception, Royal Dukes Band was playing and they are always a crowd favorite. I love when I see Royal Dukes on my vendor list. The reception was full of dancing and lots of fun by all the guests.

I’m so honored to have been a small part of this wedding day. Heather & Jon, I hope you two are having the most epic honeymoon and I can’t wait to share all these photos with you two.
