The Lodge Denton Wedding Photos

Sara and Cody were married at The Lodge Denton wedding venue. This was an elegant wedding with some fun twists added in.

Sara and Cody met in Germany. They discovered a shared passion for snowy mountains, college football, road trip-McDonalds, and Star Wars. They survived a pandemic, two deployments, and moving around the world together.

Their wedding day was perfect despite the cooler temps. Cody and Sara chose to do a first look and he was so excited to see her when he turned around. They chose to read their vows to each other privately and then it was time for some photos. A few of the groomsmen couldn’t be there due to the military, so they had some cardboard cutouts made of each guy that we included in the photos.

The ceremony was full of Star Wars songs and they exchanged vows and then did a shot-ski together as their unity. They took their shots and then sealed it with a kiss.

The reception started with a game of flip cup. The guys destroyed the ladies in this one. Sara and Cody shared their first dance and danced with their parents. When it was time to cut the cake, Sara had a little surprise inside the cake for Cody. She had the bakery add a bottle of Smirnoff to ice Cody. Cody took it like a champ but there may have been a little complaining about who touched it first.

They ended the night on the dance floor with all their guests dancing the night away. It was such a fun wedding and one I loved!
