Springs Denton Lodge

Springs Denton Lodge was the wedding venue of choice for Jennifer and Christopher last Saturday night. These two will always have a wedding to remember but we will get to that.

Jennifer and Christopher have got to be two of the most laid back people. They were so much fun to work with and I loved getting to know them more during their engagement session at the Dallas Arboretum. They are always up for whatever and are both always smiling.

These two chose to do a first look and Jennifer picked the bridge. It’s such a beautiful spot and I was all for it. They both were smiling from ear to ear during that moment. We took several photos of the two of them and then brought out the wedding party. They had the best group and they made my job effortless. We were able to get all the family photos done ahead of time as well so it made things easier after the ceremony.

The ceremony was filled with laughter and they exchanged rings, vows, and sealed it with a kiss. They did a receiving line which I don’t see often but loved that they got to say hi to everyone. Once in the reception, they shared their first dance and the band did not disappoint.

Things were going great and the dance floor was full but then the weather took a turn and a tornado warning was issued. We all made our way to the bathrooms and Jennifer and Christopher both had smiles and handed out waters. While in between two warnings, the couple made their way up to the bridal suite with the lead singer and he played their last dance song and they danced on the balcony of the bridal suite. I’d say it was the perfect ending for these two.
