Last Friday night, Haley and Jake tied the knot at Whispering Oaks Valley View, creating the picture-perfect fall wedding of their dreams. Every detail captured the essence of autumn, making for a truly magical celebration.

Their love story started back in high school on the track, where Haley and Jake first met through mutual friends. One thing led to another, and soon enough, they were inseparable. After years of growing together, Jake orchestrated the most beautiful proposal for Haley in one of their favorite places. Every Thanksgiving, Haley’s family visits Taos, New Mexico, and on one special trip, after a day of shopping, Jake led Haley to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. There, overlooking the stunning landscape, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever.

When we arrived at the venue, the setup was simply breathtaking. Tables were elegantly arranged, each detail meticulously in place. The flowers—designed with love by Haley’s mother—were a beautiful touch, adding warmth and charm to every corner of the space. Upstairs, Haley was getting her hair and makeup done, already looking radiant even before slipping into her gown. Her dress was nothing short of stunning: simple, yet intricately detailed, and absolutely perfect for her.

The couple chose to have a “first look,” but with a lighthearted twist. Jake’s best man, Tim, and Haley’s mom, Loni, played a hilarious trick on him. Tim donned Loni’s wedding dress and strolled down to the bridge where Jake was waiting. When Jake turned around and saw Tim instead of Haley, he burst into laughter. Moments later, the real bride made her way down, and Jake finally had his heartfelt first look at Haley.

Their excitement was contagious as they saw each other, and we captured plenty of gorgeous photos before the ceremony began—always a favorite moment of mine.

The ceremony itself was intimate and emotional. Jake couldn’t hold back a few tears as Haley walked down the aisle with her father. They exchanged heartfelt vows and rings, sealing their love story as husband and wife.

The evening’s reception was filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of closeness from family and friends who came together to celebrate Haley and Jake. It was a beautiful night and the perfect start to their next chapter. These two had the time of their lives, surrounded by so much love and happiness.
