Love was in the air (literally!) during Matthew and Caroline’s engagement session at the stunning Grapevine Lake, just at the edge of the bustling DFW airport. Set at the end of May, the day was warm with a breeze that added to the perfect spring atmosphere. With the lake as a serene backdrop and the occasional airplane soaring overhead, it was an ideal setting for capturing the essence of their love.

Matthew, a pilot, couldn’t have been more excited about the chance to incorporate planes into their photos. As we walked along the shore, it was amazing to see how he could identify each plane overhead just by the sound—his passion for flying truly came to life in those moments. His connection to the skies added a unique touch to their session, especially with planes coming into DFW airport as a perfect backdrop for some of their photos.

The couple brought their best energy, laughing and enjoying each other’s company as we explored the beautiful surroundings. They wore two outfits, one dressy and one casual, giving us a variety of looks that showcased their personalities. The first set of photos had them looking effortlessly chic in dressier attire, while the second set, in their more laid-back clothes, brought out their playful side. Every shot captured their deep connection and undeniable chemistry, radiating love that was contagious.

The picturesque setting of Grapevine Lake complemented their radiant love. The winding paths, the shimmering water, and the tranquil atmosphere set the perfect stage for these special memories. From quiet, intimate moments to laughter-filled bursts, their engagement session reflected the bond they share—one full of adventure, joy, and genuine affection.

We’re all eagerly anticipating their wedding next May at The Lodge, part of The Springs Event Venues in Denton, where they’ll take the next step in their journey together. With such a beautiful connection and a day full of love, their upcoming wedding is bound to be an unforgettable celebration.
