Their story started in the most unexpected place, Pluckers in Plano. Madison was out with friends when Michael, their server for the evening, charmed the table with his humor. Madison thought he was funny and cute, so before leaving, she slipped him her phone number. That same night, Michael texted her, and by the end of the week, they were on their very first date.

That first date at Toulouse in Legacy West was filled with hours of effortless conversation. They discovered countless things in common, finishing each other’s thoughts and even saying the same words at the same time. By the end of the night, Michael told his mom he could see Madison as his wife, and Madison told her mom the very same thing. It was an instant, undeniable connection.

The Proposal

Michael knew quickly that Madison was the one. Just a few months after they began dating in August of 2023, he had already bought her ring. He waited for the perfect moment, which finally came in February of 2024 during a trip to Vero Beach, Florida.

After dinner, they walked the shoreline as the waves crashed nearby. Madison had suspected a proposal might be coming soon, but their families convinced her it would not happen on that trip, so when Michael dropped to one knee, it was still a total surprise.
