Milestone Denton

Natalie and Jared met during the one-year time-span that Natalie lived in New Hartford, New York in 2011. They were both fortunate to have junior year English class together and Jared immediately knew that he wanted to ask Natalie out! She was hesitant to start dating, but Jared knew she was worth the wait. He went on to ask her out three times before she finally agreed to start dating on December 3rd, 2011. During their senior year in high school, they worked to build their budding relationship while living 1,300 miles apart, as Natalie had to move back to Oklahoma with her family. After graduating from high school, they both decided to attend the University of Oklahoma. Seven years, two states, and a combined total of five and a half years of college later, Natalie and Jared had grown closer together than they ever thought possible. On February 14, 2018, Jared surprised Natalie by proposing to her in the spoon, a time-honored tradition on OU campus, surrounded by their family and friends. Natalie always dreamed about marrying her high school sweetheart, and now her dream has come true.

Natalie and Jared chose The Milestone Denton as their wedding venue. I am very familiar with this venue and it was great to be back. Natalie got her dress on and she looked stunning! They chose to do a first look and Jared loved seeing Natalie all dressed up.

Natalie’s first look with dad was so emotional. I always cry during these moments. But, I think my most favorite part of her wedding, was that she had her grandma be the flower girl. Mimi took her job very seriously and made sure that aisle was lined with petals for her granddaughter. This really made me miss my own grandma.

Their ceremony and reception were so much fun and everyone had a blast. Her donut wall was a huge hit. I loved working with this couple and they made me feel like part of the family.
