Boyd Farm Wedding Photos

Itzel and Matthew were married on Saturday. Their ceremony was at Saint Anthony Catholic Church with their reception at Boyd Farm wedding venue in Lavon, Texas.

These two met while working in the same medical building. A nurse practitioner looked at both of them and said they would make a cute couple. So Matthew added Itzel on social media and they started talking from there.

They planned a trip to Miami in February for a June trip. It was their first night in Miami and they went to dinner. Matthew took her to The Capital Grille and they had dinner. Matthew left the table after dinner and as he was coming back, the waiter had a dessert plate with Congratulations written on it. Itzel was confused until she turned and saw Matthew and he started with “The whole point of this trip was for me to be able to do this” and then got down on one knee and asked Itzel to marry him.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with these two for our initial meeting. I was thrilled they wanted to hire me to capture their day. I loved their energy and how much Matthew shows his love to Itzel. We met for their engagement photos and I was so in love with these two as a couple. They are both so photogenic and were effortless when it came to taking photos.

Their wedding day was perfect! The weather was excellent and the day flowed smoothly. I had the best time with them and their wedding party. It was so much fun!
