Brooks at Weatherford Wedding | Brooke + Terrel

Brooks at Weatherford Wedding

Brooke and Terrel’s wedding at Brooks at Weatherford was an absolute dream from start to finish. This venue is one of my favorites for wedding photography, and every time I’m there, I fall even more in love with it. The property has so many stunning spots for photos, from the open-air chapel to the lush greenery and elegant architecture. It’s a photographer’s paradise, and Brooke and Terrel’s day was pure perfection.

These two were married last Friday night surrounded by family and friends who have known them for decades. Brooke looked absolutely radiant, the kind of beauty that shines from the inside out. Her smile could light up any room, and she truly glowed all day long. Terrel, tall and kind-hearted, was the perfect match for her. It was easy to see how loved they are by everyone there.

Before the ceremony, Brooke and Terrel exchanged gifts. Brooke chose something practical, while Terrel went straight for the heart. He gave her a journal he had kept since their very first date, documenting moments from their relationship. Brooke didn’t have time to read it all that day, but her reaction said it all. It was one of the sweetest and most personal gifts I’ve ever seen exchanged on a wedding day.

Their first look was tender and emotional, giving them a few quiet moments together before the excitement of the day truly began. The wedding party joined in for photos next, and what a fun group they were. The bridesmaids looked stunning, and the colors and flowers Brooke chose were some of my favorites this season. The groomsmen kept everyone laughing, especially when one accidentally stepped on the dress, something he quickly turned into a playful photo moment.

The ceremony took place in the gorgeous open-air chapel at Brooks at Weatherford, which provided the perfect backdrop for their vows. They sealed their union with rings and a unique sand ceremony using an hourglass, such a meaningful and creative touch.

As the sun began to set, Brooke and Terrel shared their first dance, a choreographed performance that had everyone cheering. The dance floor stayed full all night long, a true reflection of the joy that surrounded them. The evening ended beautifully with a private last dance and a sparkling send-off, the perfect close to an unforgettable day.

Weddings like this remind me why I love being a wedding photographer at Brooks at Weatherford. It’s a place where love stories shine and every photo tells a piece of the magic.
