Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church | Corinne + Travis

Corinne + Travis | A God-Centered Celebration at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church

Saturday was such a beautiful reminder of how sweet and intentional love can be. Corinne and Travis are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and their love for one another is grounded in something so much deeper than themselves. Their wedding day at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church was a true celebration of faith, family, and joy.

Their story began in the most fitting place, the church. Corinne was already active in the choir and hand bells when Travis auditioned for the position of Director of Music Ministry. Over time, serving together in these ministries gave them the chance to really get to know each other. Their first date came about in such a sweet way, sparked by Corinne’s cats making a surprise escape and Travis using that as an opportunity to start texting her. From that moment on, they were inseparable, talking, laughing, sharing ice cream after concerts, and building the foundation for the love we all witnessed on their wedding day.

Travis’ proposal to Corinne was thoughtful and meaningful, happening on Pi Day (3/14) at the lakeside spot where they shared their first kiss. Even the strong winds could not stop the joy of that day. Surrounded by their families and friends who helped document the moment, Travis asked Corinne to spend forever with him, and she, of course, said yes.

When it came to planning their wedding, there was never a question that their church home, Canyon Creek Presbyterian, would be the heart of it all. Not only is it a beautiful space, but it is also where their story began. Their ceremony was filled with music, from meaningful hymns to the choir singing, making it such a powerful reflection of who they are. Corinne shared a tender first look with her dad, while Travis had one with his sister, both of which were such heartfelt moments to witness. During the ceremony, they lit a unity candle, symbolizing the start of their new life together as husband and wife.

The celebration continued right there at the church, where their guests enjoyed delicious food, fun games, and a photobooth to capture the memories. Corinne and Travis spent the afternoon mingling, laughing, and soaking in every hug and smile from their loved ones. Their first dance, along with their parent dances, took place outside on the patio, and we found a butterfly on the ground. After cutting their cakes and celebrating with their guests, they ended the night with a cheerful bubble exit down the church steps, a picture-perfect sendoff for the sweetest couple.

Corinne and Travis, it was an honor to witness your day and the way your love reflects your faith and commitment. Your wedding was more than just a beautiful celebration; it was a testimony to the kind of love that puts God first and radiates joy to everyone around you. I have no doubt your marriage will continue to bless those who know you.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lowery!
