Chalk Fight Engagement Photos

A chalk fight engagement session wasn’t something that I get asked to do often but I love how this turned out! But first, a little about the couple…

Jazzlyn and Mason knew each other in middle school and then she moved to a different school and they reconnected in 2017 at Texas Roadhouse and became crazy about each other. Mason came up with a clever proposal idea and popped the question at an escape room with one of the clues. They are getting married in April of 2022 at Barnett Estates in Krum, Texas.

Jazzlyn sent me a chalk fight engagement inspiration photo of what they wanted to do for their photos and I said “HELL YES!” Jazzlyn and Mason were so much fun to get to know during their engagement session. Oh…Her RING! I think this is my top favorite ring I’ve ever seen. The cut is so unique and I just couldn’t stop staring at it. Check out the photo of it below.

I loved doing something so different. We started off with a couple of outfits and a more traditional session. The fall colors just make me happy! It’s my favorite time of the year and I know we don’t get a true fall in Texas but this is pretty close. The trees are more than green or brown 🤣.

They changed into the white t-shirts and Jazzlyn didn’t wait long before she threw the first fist-full of color. Watching these two was comical! Mason would throw color and Jazzlyn would turn away so her back got most of it. They kept throwing colors back and forth and just laughed the entire time. He got her good at the end though. She thought he was out of chalk and then he dumped it on her head. This made such a fun and playful session which I absolutely love!
