Carlye and Grant wanted their engagement photos taken at his families land in Decatur. With hundreds of acres, we were able to do so much and had some of the prettiest scenery. Grant wanted to incorporate his old chevy truck as well. We started driving to different spots and I was able to get lots of beautiful backgrounds.
The sky started to get darker but we just kept going. They brought feed for the cows so they could participate in photos too and then the sky turned even darker but the clouds looked cool. Then it started pouring down rain and these two just embraced it. I gave them my umbrella and we got a few photos and then they just took off running and dancing in the rain. I loved that they just made the most of this situation.
Since I didn’t get finished with my session, I went back out a few days later and we were able to finished their Decatur country engagement session. I’m in love with so many of these photos and really just had the best time watching these two love on each other. I cannot wait until their wedding in a couple of months.
