Some love stories feel like they were written by God’s own hand, and Melissa and Travis’ is one of them. These two waited patiently on His timing, trusting that He would bring their paths together in the perfect way. Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of that faith, filled with joy, reverence, and the kind of love that inspires everyone around them.

Melissa and Travis’ wedding day was nothing short of incredible. Their day was filled with love, emotion, and faith from beginning to end, and it was an honor to capture every moment.

The weather was absolutely perfect, and we began the day at the church where Travis serves as youth pastor, a place that already holds so much meaning in their story. Melissa looked stunning in her dress, glowing with joy and anticipation for the day ahead. Before the ceremony, she shared a sweet first look with her brother and nephews that was full of smiles and happy tears. She and Travis also exchanged heartfelt letters and chose to do a first touch. With hands joined in the sanctuary, they prayed together, setting the tone for a day grounded in faith and love.

The ceremony was truly moving. Melissa’s brother walked her down the aisle, and Travis’s smile as he saw his bride was priceless. A chair was set aside in honor of Melissa’s dad, complete with his Bible and a hat from his favorite college team, a touching reminder that love lives on in the memories we carry. One of the most meaningful parts of the service was when Melissa and Travis shared the Lord’s Supper, a beautiful reflection of their commitment to keep Christ at the center of their marriage.

After family photos, we headed to Mustang Creek for the reception, where the celebration continued in the sweetest way. Melissa and Travis entered as husband and wife and shared their first dance, surrounded by cheers and love from their guests. Melissa then shared a special dance with seven men who have played an important role in her life, ending the dance with her new father-in-law, a moment that touched everyone’s hearts. Travis and his mom shared a dance too, and I’ll admit, those always make me teary-eyed.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter, dancing, and pure joy. Melissa and Travis were surrounded by the people who love them most, and every detail of their day reflected just how deeply they are cherished.
