You may remember Kaylee and Blake from a blog post in December about their proposal. I still can’t believe Kaylee is getting married! Kaylee and Blake came down from Tulsa, OK this past weekend for their rustic engagement session in Frisco. After talking with Kaylee and Blake, Blake said he wanted something rustic and nothing fancy. I gave them several ideas and Frisco’s Heritage Center was their choice for the engagement session.
Blake’s one request, was his bow. That had to be incorporated and Kaylee was all for it. Kaylee remembered a shot I did way back in 2007, and wanted something similar with his bow and her nursing stuff. I made Blake pull back the arrow for a couple of minutes and then afterwards he tells me how hard it is to hold it back that long…OOPS! I’m sure his arm was burning after those shots :). Kaylee tried to pull it back and couldn’t even make it budge.
Kaylee has been my assistant many times on photo sessions and she knew exactly what to do. Taking pictures of these two could not have been any easier. They flow into poses naturally and certainly had no problem kissing! I swear these two could be models. I certainly could photograph these two over and over again. I’m sure they will have no problems picking out a favorite (*insert sarcasm here). I tried narrowing them down for this blog posts and couldn’t make that happen. So good luck you two!
We truly had a wonderful day and perfect weather. I’m so honored to be their wedding photographer, along with Steffanie, and I cannot wait to shoot Kaylee’s bridal session soon and their wedding in September at Rock Creek Ranch in McKinney. Get ready for my Instagram to blow up with some of these images as well. I may be biased to this couple but their photos are amazing!!
