What a way to end 2019! This wedding has been planned for so long and it was great to see it all come together. I loved working with Kelsey and her mom Kandy during this time.
Kelsey and Jon were married last Saturday at Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth. I’ve shot at this chapel before and it is STUNNING but seeing it at night makes it even more beautiful.
Kelsey choose a unique dress and I was so blown away when she sent me the photo. I had never seen anything like it before. I’ve always wanted to photograph and a black wedding dress and she gave me the in-between look. During her bridal session, she paired it with her leather jacket and she gave life to the meaning of a rocker bride.
Jon and Kelsey decided to keep things traditional and he did not see her until she walked down the aisle. He was smiling from ear to ear watching his bride approach him. The ceremony was so romantic with the lighting.
After a few photos, we went onto the reception which was held at The Historic Hilton in Fort Worth. Donna and her team transformed the ballroom into Kelsey and Kandy’s dream. I loved all the black and red.
The dance floor stayed packed all night and the guests enjoyed the photobooth and mingling with family and friends. It was such a perfect wedding that Kelsey and Jon will remember forever.
We sent them off in a sparkler exit and then we went to Whataburger to end the night with a snack. It was such a fun way to end a perfect night.
