James and Chelsea met during their first year at SMU law school. They were in the same section so they had every class together their first year. It took Chelsea awhile but she finally went on a date with James and they have been together ever since. James proposed on the porch at the house Chelsea lived in when they first started dating. They studied for the Bar there and spent a lot of their time at the house early in their relationship. When James proposed, he told her that was where he fell in love with Chelsea and where he was when he realized he wanted to be with her forever. It was such a special day that neither one will ever forget and how much thought James put into the entire thing.
Chelsea and James came to one of the open houses that The Milestone has to show off the venue and let potential brides taste their amazing food. She had already booked this venue because she wanted a white mansion to marry the love of her life. I was luckily to be there and met them. There are some people you meet and instantly form a connection with. That is so true for when I first met Chelsea. I felt like I had know her forever and we get along so well. I have really enjoyed getting to know her more over her planning process and she has become a great friend out of this. When I first did their engagement session, I fell in love with these two as a couple. James was a little quite at first but he opened up and we had the best time shooting in Dallas. Chelsea told me that neither one of them take good pictures and I laughed so hard thinking she was nuts. These two are so stunning together! And Chelsea’s bridals will make the blog soon and of course my website. I loved that session too!
The day started with beautiful weather which is always nice on your wedding day. I arrived and all the girls were getting ready by Wendy and her team. I swear Chelsea had an application process for her bridal party. I mean, how can that many people all look amazing? She certainly has beautiful friends and they were all so much fun. Chelsea wanted a first look with her dad and then we did her first look with James. James teared up when he first saw how stunning his bride was. We went outside for a few photos which I’m in LOVE with and then the bridal party photos. As the ceremony quickly approached, Chelsea was full of smiles and ready to walk down the aisle to marry her husband. Their ceremony was full of laughter and they sealed it with a kiss and then onto the party.
The ballroom of The Milestone looked amazing with Chelsea’s choices of black and gold. It looked amazing all decked out. Andy’s Floral Events did a fantastic job with all the floral and decor. DJ Tony had the dance floor packed all night long and it was such a fun reception. My girls and I of coursed had to get some dancing in too and just had the best time. Jordan told me that this was such a fun wedding and I have to agree with her. I mean, just look at these photos!
Mr. and Mrs. Bedotto, I am honored that I was a part of your day. You two seriously have a special place in my heart. I love you two so much and I am ecstatic that I gained two amazing friends. I hope Jamaica is treating you two well and I will see you when you get back!

[…] Chelsea and James (see their wedding images) were married last week in a beautiful ceremony at The Milestone in Krum. A few months ago, we went to The Milestone and I photographed her bridal session. She looked stunning and my camera really loves her ? . Trying to narrow down her session was so hard. She looks AMAZING in every image. Her dress is very classic and elegant and then you add her veil and she make one beautiful bride. Chelsea has been one of my favorite brides and it’s sad knowing that her wedding is over. I know that I now have an amazing friend and I’m excited to have found such a beautiful soul to call a friend. Her images are exceptional and a special thanks to Makeup by Wendy for her hair and make-up, Andy’s Floral for her bouquet and The Milestone for their beautiful venue! Now I just need Chelsea to get back from the longest honeymoon ever so we can have lunch! […]
