Milestone Wedding Photos

Brandi and Darrell were married last Saturday in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at The Milestone’s Krum Mansion. Brandi is such a beautiful person inside and out and she could not of looked more amazing. I love when I see dresses that are different and this one was gorgeous with the lace. Darrell was a little nervous before he saw Brandi. During their first look, Brandi and Darrell were smiling ear to ear and I think Darrell nerves calmed down. All the wedding party joined us for a few photos, and then it was ceremony time. The weather corporated with us and we had sunshine and it wasn’t too hot. Brandi and Darrell exchanged personal vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it all with a kiss. A few more photos of family and the two love birds, then onto the reception. I love uplighting and blue is probably my favorite for photos, so Brandi and Darrell’s reception was perfect. I loved watching their first dance. Their friends and family enjoyed the amazing food, the Photo Booth fun and a little dancing. One final private last dance, and then a sparkler exit. Mr. & Mrs. Wilkerson were off!

The Bride and Groom

Brandi and Darrell reconnected in June, 2015, when both happened to be single. They spent night after night texting for hours until one of them could no longer stay awake! It was a contest to see who could hold out longer each night. Both were smitten with the other’s wit, intelligence and caring attitude.

Darrell asked Brandi to dinner for their first date on June 30, 2015. Being the culinary expert that he is, Darrell researched Italian restaurants around Lewisville before settling on Parma. He even went there for lunch a few days before their date as a trial run to make sure the food was sure to impress! On the day of their first date, both were nervous as their conversation had been so wonderful, they didn’t want to disappoint each other in person. Darrell is always early and arrived first. Brandi, on the other hand, is the opposite and was a bit late.

They stayed at the restaurant for hours, enjoying the non-stop conversation and getting to know each other better. Darrell says he felt like ‘the luckiest guy alive to be on a date with such a beautiful woman’. Brandi was won over by the caring nature of such a gentleman!

The couple traveled to Illinois to spend the Thanksgivng holiday with Darrell’s family. On their last night there, both were exhausted from the day’s events but Darrell had one last surprise in store. They were in their hotel room discussing marriage and their future when Darrell shocked Brandi by getting down on one knee and formally proposing. Brandi happily accepted and the rest is history!

Brandi and Darrell were formally married on November 30, 2015 , in a very small, intimate ceremony officiated by Justice of the Peace Becky Kerbow. It was exactly five months to the day after their first date.
