Red Door Ranch Wedding Photos | Joshua, TX | Julia + Brendan

Julia and Brendan were married last weekend at Red Door Ranch wedding venue in Joshua, Texas. This was our first time being at this venue and it was beautiful. The bridal suite was my favorite and you can tell lots of thought went into this venue. It’s certainly one to go visit if you still need a venue.

Julia and Brendan met at a dog park. Julia told him that if her dog didn’t like him than it wasn’t going to work. Looks like she liked him! They dated for awhile and then they were in Port A for the weekend and she was 25 weeks pregnant. He woke her up to tell her to get out of the car so they could go to the water. He grabbed her hands and told her how much he loved her, got down on his knee and shot the words out so fast that she really didn’t even know what he said but she knew what he meant. Poor man was so nervous but they both undoubtedly knew what the answer was!

Julia did a first look with her adorable son first and Lincoln was excited to see his mommy. Afterwards, Julia and Brendan did their first look. We then got a few photos of the two of them and then added the wedding party.

The ceremony is down a path surrounded by trees. Julia was escorted down the aisle by her step-dad and he handed her off to her dad. The officiant has know Julia all her life and had lots of sweet things to say about her and them as a couple. They exchanged rings and then kissed to make if official! After they made it to the end of the aisle, they took celebration unity shots.

The reception was full of dancing and mingling and we had the best sunset on the hill of the venue. It was a perfect day for these two and Lincoln had a blast dancing too.
