Kaylee and Blake meet in high school and they started dating at 16/17 years old.  After high school they parted ways as Blake moved to Oklahoma.  They still kept in touch and finally realized they were meant to be.  Kaylee and Blake did the long distance relationship for awhile, then she decided to move to Tulsa to be closer to Blake.  At a wedding I photographed last December, Blake and Kaylee were guests.  He told me that he was planning on proposing to Kaylee that next weekend.  I of course got so excited and we made plans for me to capture their proposal.  I drove up to Tulsa to the Rhema Christmas Lights and Blake got down on his knee and proposed.  I was so excited that I was able to be there and witness her special moment.  In February, Blake and Kaylee came to Texas for their engagement session.  We all had the best time and got some amazing images.  These two are so easy to photograph.  Then in May, I photographed  Kaylee’s bridal session (which will hit the blog next week).  Kaylee is such a beautiful person inside and out.  I am very blessed to have known her for several years and call her a friend.
Kaylee and Blake had the perfect wedding day.  Rock Creek Ranch in McKinney was the perfect venue to fit their style and they were able to make the space their own.  Kaylee is a wonderful DIYer and made lots of the decor.  Kaylee chose to do a first look with her dad instead of Blake.  Kaylee and her dad had a private moment that was a tear-jerker!  After all the crying, we started photos and everyone looked amazing.  The ceremony was perfect with Kaylee’s grandpa officiating.  He made everyone laugh and loved that he got to marry his granddaughter and new grandson.  If we could of taken 2 hours to photograph this couple, we would have.  They are so freaking cute and our cameras really love them.  During the reception all the guest enjoyed mingling and having a great time.  Kaylee and the girls danced their hearts out and then the end quickly came.  Kaylee and Blake shared a private last dance and then walked through the guest with glow sticks.  Their day was just as perfect as the two of them are.  I hope you two are having a blast in Mexico.  Enjoy these Rock Creek Ranch Wedding photos!
