When I first met with April and Ryan, I found out Ryan is an avid fisherman so April wanted to incorporate fishing into their engagement session. She sent me her Pinterest board and I fell in love with some of the photos she pinned with the fishing theme. White Rock Lake seemed to be the perfect setting with the docks. We were able to get together last week for their engagement session.
We started off with their more dressy outfit to let the sun go down a little more. The park around the docks has several large trees and plenty of shade for extra photos. Once the sun went down more, we started on the fishing themed photos. April added their date onto the tackle box and they brought their fishing poles. I didn’t think we would have much of a sunset with all the clouds but boy was I wrong! The clouds looked almost FAKE. I have never seen clouds look like this and the coloring of the sky, made it all picture perfect. These are some of my favorite sunset photos I have ever taken. I think I was squealing like a little girl with every click of my camera. April and Ryan probably thought I was crazy until they saw the back of my camera. I was stunned by how the sky looked and then the photos looked even better. I may be plastering these photos all over my website and Instagram 🙂 Get ready for them!
April and Ryan are getting married at The Springs McKinney next May and it seems like forever away. I can’t wait to work with them again and I hope the sunset on their wedding day will be just as amazing!
