Allissa + Austin’s Wedding at The Lodge

Allissa and Austin were married last Saturday at The Lodge. Their wedding was pure perfection and I’d take these two all day long to photograph over and over.

Allissa and Austin went to the same hight school but did not connect until years later after they both graduated college. He asked her on a date to a baseball game over Facebook messenger and two weeks after their first date, he asked her to be his girlfriend.

When it came time to propose, Allissa thought it was a normal day by taking one of their dogs to the lake to play. Austin wanted to go earlier than usual and she barely had time to change clothes before he wanted to go out the door. Allissa always takes pics and videos of the dog playing and Austin had the idea to do a time lapse video of them playing with the dog so he set up his phone. Turns out Austin set up his phone to record him proposing. She was so shocked and so very happy!

Allissa and Austin’s wedding day was so perfect. The weather was amazing for December and the day was just flawless. They chose to do a first look and Allissa was thrilled to finally show Austin her dress. It was so hard for her not to tell him or show him the dress before the wedding.

It was time for the ceremony and Austin’s smile just got bigger the closer Allissa got to him. They exchanged vows, rings, and signed the marriage license to make it legit!

We took some beautiful couple photos that I cannot wait to get on my website. These two are so photogenic and I didn’t mind them staying in front of the camera as long as possible.

The reception started off with their first dance, followed by their parent dances. Then it was time for dinner which was delicious! They had a couple of speeches then did the photo dash with all the guests. We got all the tables with seconds to spare. They spent the rest of the night dancing and mingling with their guests. It was such a wonderful day.
