Barn at Wolf Ridge Farm Gainesville Wedding

Faith and Hunter were married last Saturday at The Barn at Wolf Ridge Farm in Gainesville, Texas. They had such an amazing wedding and it was so much fun to capture.

Faith and Hunter met through a mutual friend in the spring of 2018. Soon after becoming good friends, Faith left for OU. On Labor Day weekend, Faith came back to Dallas to join Hunter at his friend’s lakehouse where Hunter asked Faith to be his girlfriend. Faith and Hunter continued dating long-distance until Faith graduated from OU. During that time there were many weekend trips to and from Norman and Dallas so they could see each other.

Flash forward to Valentine’s Day 2022 when Hunter surprised Faith with a proposal. Hunter knew that Faith would never expect a proposal on such a cliche holiday, so she would be genuinely surprised. Hunter gave Faith a note that thanked her for all the ways she had impacted his life. She got to the end and the last thank you was “Thank you for saying yes”, she immediately turned around and told Hunter thank you and he asked “so are you saying yes?” to which she responded “saying yes to what?”. Hunter put the ring box directly in Faith’s face and said “Yes to marrying me and being my wife”.

There day was finally here and it was such a special day. Faith and Hunter chose this date because it was her parent’s anniversary. When I walked in the bridal suite, I saw her dress and it was perfect! I loved her jacket and hat she added on for photos.

The ceremony was performed by Hunter’s brother-in-law and he did a fantastic job making the ceremony personal. They exchanged vows, rings, and then sealed it with a kiss.

After some family photos, it was time to party. The dance floor was packed all night long and the guests had such a great time. It was a night to remember forever!
