The Lodge Denton Wedding Photos

Samantha and Kendrick were married on Sunday at the beautiful Springs Event Venues Denton at The Lodge. The Lodge Denton wedding photos are always a favorite of mine. This venue is perfect without any decor added but when it’s decorated, it becomes even more gorgeous.

Samantha and Kendrick met at an ODU basketball game where she was cheering. A fellow cheerleader, Madi, was friends with Kendrick and she introduced them. Kendrick was at a loss for words so Samantha did all the talking. Over the next few months, they texted and talked while getting to know one another. Kendrick even went to all of the basketball games Samantha was cheering at. Kendrick finally asked her to a party and they had so much fun. He asked her out again and on that date, asked her to be his girlfriend. Kendrick proposed several months later on a beach in Hawaii.

We walked in and everything was set beautifully. The tables looked great and the florist was finishing up adding florals. The groomsmen were ready to go as were the bridesmaids. This laid-back group was so much fun to work with.

Samantha had a surprise for Kendrick during their first look. She had the best man in a t-rex costume so when Kendrick turned around, that’s what he saw. It was so funny to watch and Kendrick was laughing so hard. Samantha then did a real first look and he was so blown away by her beauty. She looked so amazing in her gown.

It was time for the ceremony to start and the guests got a surprise as well. One of the groomsmen became the “flower guy” and started it off with an impressive entrance throwing petals from his fanny pack. All the guests thought is was hysterical! The ceremony was performed by Samantha’s cousin and he did a fantastic job. After they were pronounced husband and wife, we captured family photos and then it was time to party.

The reception was full of dancing and all the guests had the best time on the dance floor. Samantha and Kendrick had the most perfect wedding day!
