The Lodge Wedding Photos | Aubrey, TX Photographer | Katelyn and Brandon

Katelyn and Brandon were married on Sunday at The Lodge in Aubrey, TX.  The Lodge has a Colorado feel and is located on a hill in Aubrey.  The views are so amazing and makes you feel like you are not in Denton County.  

Katelyn and Brandon’s wedding day was a little colder than they hoped for.  Instead of an outdoor ceremony, they got married inside with the fireplace as the background.  I love watching the bride walk down the huge staircase toward her husband.  It’s such a grand entrance for a bride.  

Katelyn had a first look with her dad prior to the ceremony which made me tear up.  I am such a sucker for daddy/daughter moments.  I loved the color of the flowers and the tiny pinecones in the arrangements.  Katelyn let her bridesmaids pick their own dresses in the wine color.  They each choose a short dress to compliment her’s but when they got to the venue, they color coordinated better than an mistake could be.  All the bridesmaids looked amazing. 

Katelyn and Brandon had the indoor ceremony and it was beautiful.  With a quick flip of the chairs and a few tables, the room was transformed into the reception space.  Katelyn and Brandon braved the cold for a few outdoor photos and then it was time for the reception. 

Katelyn and Brandon’s reception was lots of fun with lots of dancing.  The guests all had such a great time and we got lots of fun dancing photos.  One of my favorite parts was they had Nothing Bundt Cakes.  I mean, who doesn’t love those little bundtinis?  They had several of the flavors too.  

At the end of the night, the guests lined up outside and the groom’s dad had a HUGE Hummer Limo for them to get taken away in. It was a great wedding for such a sweet couple.
