Rockwall Manor Wedding | Dallas Wedding Photographer | Elizabeth and Mike

Elizabeth and Mike were married at Rockwall Manor in Terrell, Texas. Rockwall Manor is part of The Springs Event Venues and it’s one of my favorites.

When I walked into the reception area, I was so amazed at all the decor. I loved all the rose gold and geometrical shapes that were included. Everything was perfection. As I walked into the bridal suite, Elizabeth was so calm just getting her makeup finished. As she got dressed, her nerves finally made a slight appearance but didn’t last long.

They chose to do a first look and I loved everything about it. They cried, laughed, kissed, hugged, and smiled. This moment is so special and I’m so excited when I get to capture it. We were also able to get all the photos done before the ceremony which is always an added bonus.

The ceremony was filled with laughter and Elizabeth’s brother officiated their marriage. After they were announced husband and wife, we took more photos of the two of them.

As they were announced into the reception, the bridal party lined up at the end of the stairs to welcome them into the party. They shared a first dance and then danced with their parents. Elizabeth and Mike had a caricature artist at the reception and guests were able to get sketched. I love when couples do something different like this.

As the night came to an end, the couple shared their last dance together before exiting. They left in a cute vintage car and onto the honeymoon they went.

Elizabeth and Mike’s wedding was my favorite wedding of the year. From all the decor, to an entire laid-back day, to getting all the photos done beforehand, to the fun of the guests, to the cookies, and all the way until the exit…It was the perfect day! BEST WEDDING!!
