The Lodge NYE Wedding

Brooklyn and Nik were married on NYE at The Lodge in Aubrey. Since the weather wasn’t the best, they opted for an all indoor wedding. Their Lodge NYE wedding was certainly one for the books.

It all started back in 2015 when they met at a mutual friend’s house on Labor Day in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Brooklyn was crafting with the girls and Nik was watching football with the guys. A couple of days later they went to dinner and their first Cody Johnson concert together. Over the weekend, they went to a tailgate and cheered on the Cowboys, Go Pokes!! They continued to spend time together.

Brooklyn and Nik moved into a townhome in May and she really wanted to get a puppy. So finally in July, Nik surprised Brooklyn with a Miniature Schnauzer. He told her to look at the collar and see what her name was and the tag read “Will You Marry Me?”. Brooklyn of course said YES! Sadie is now the most spoiled dog around.

Brooklyn and Nik chose a first look and Sadie joined them for a few photos. The rain didn’t stop us from getting a few outdoor photos of the side of the building. The Lodge was set for the ceremony. Brooklyn made her entrance down the staircase with her dad and she looked so beautiful. After the ceremony a quick room flip and it was time for the reception.

Brooklyn shared a dance with her new husband. Nik then danced with his mom, and then Brooklyn and her dad had a fun dance to several songs which the guests loved.

After dinner, the guests danced the night away and DJ Mario certainly knows how to keep the dance floor packed. It was time for the countdown and everyone celebrated 2021. Brooklyn and Nik shared a private last dance and then exited through a snowfall of love.
