The Springs Event Venues Denton | The Lodge

Rose and Seth were married on Monday afternoon at The Springs Event Venues Denton – The Lodge. They opted for an indoor ceremony to avoid the heat and boy was I so glad for this since it was so hot.

How it all started…

They met when Seth went to Texas Tech to pursue his Doctorate Degree in Music Performance! Rose saw him at a party and knew that he was going to be special to her. The semester before Rose student taught, she annoyed Seth into being a friend and then eventually into more. Their shared love of music, sports, and laughter kept them sane throughout the crazy years of 2020 and 2021. Seth finished his doctorate and officially became DOCTOR Shaffer and Rose spent 2 years teaching in Lubbock. In December of 2021, Seth proposed in front of his family at the Dallas Arboretum and of course, she said yes!

Rose and Seth chose to do a first look with each other to start their day off. They enjoyed spending time together before all the guests arrived for the ceremony. They had a beautiful indoor ceremony in front of the grand fireplace. They exchanged vows, rings and sealed it with a kiss.

They started off the reception with a choreographed dance which everyone loved. They spent the rest of the evening dancing and spending time with all their guests. It turned out to be the best day ever for them!
